Archery in Lanzarote

From the battlefield of Agincourt to fuedal Japan, archery has changed the course of history. It’s also one of the oldest competitive sports in the world.

The equipment is simple, a three-fingered glove is worn on your string hand to protect your fingers and to allow you to pull back with more force. On the bow hand a leather pad is necessary to protect you from painful twangs from the string as it’s released. The quiver, containing your carbon-fibre arrows hangs from your hip and the bow is selected to personally suit you.

A varied terrain allows archers to shoot up to 30 meters, or for the more experienced, there are professional ranges of up to 70 meters.
